Welcome to WILKINS TOWNSHIP VFC # 1

Wilkins Township Volunteer Company #1 has a lot to be proud of in 2015.  We are celebrating our 100th anniversary this year.  Our founders incorporated this company in 1915 and our volunteers have been available 24-7, protecting the lives and property of the Wilkins Township residents and surrounding communities to this day.  The fire service all over the country has progressed to not only just putting out fire and we refuse to be left behind.  The members of your fire company have extensive training reaching thousands of hours to meet the demanding standards of the industry today.  We take pride in having the ability to provide a professional level of service when the community demands.

Along with 100 years of service we are proud to announce that we were awarded a Federal Grant to expand our services to the community.  We were awarded the money to purchase the tools needed to perform vehicle extrication known to many as "The Jaws of Life".  The majority of our members are currently certified in Vehicle rescue at the level of technician and are excited to have the ability to assist our current rescue company when lives are at stake.

If you are interested in joining the fight to protect our community and its residents, we could use your help.  Please stop by any Thursday evening.  We have practice starting at 7pm each week.  We are looking for interested parties ages 16 and over.
